Loehmann's gets a custom family of fonts
Matching the stylish logotype of Loehmann's department store, first the rest of the capital letters were was created to complete the basic 26 letters. Then a complimentary lowercase was designed, followed by all of the other punctuation, numerals and characters necessary to complete the primary character set of 256 glyphs. The Vice President of Store Design and Visual Presentation wanted two bolder weights and italics to go along with it, all in all a six font type family. All fonts were output in Opentype.
